Sunday, December 15 after worship – Litten Hall
It is that time of year again when the Deacons and Food Pantry volunteers are compiling a list of people who need help with food during the Christmas holidays. Our church has supported this effort for many years with generous donations of money and time as we provide a loving food ministry to the inner City of Lansing. This year we will supply 100 food baskets to area families. A donation of $45 will cover the cost of one food basket. Help will be needed on Saturday, December 14 to organize and arrange the food items that will be filled in the baskets after worship service on Sunday, December 15 in our usual assembly line process. Volunteers will also be needed the next day, Monday, December 16 to distribute the baskets late morning and early afternoon to our guests who will come to pick up their basket. Thanks for your help for this important ministry to the less fortunate.

Blue Christmas At 11:30 a.m. – Chapel
After our regular 10:00 a.m. service, join us in the Molly Grove Chapel for our annual Blue Christmas Service.
This service is for those who feel at odds with or estranged from the general feeling of joy and happiness typically associated with this time of year. These may be people who have suffered a personal loss: death of a loved one, divorce, illness, or job loss. The service seeks to comfort them by reminding them they are not alone and that their feelings are honored. We hope you will be able to join us for this meaningful service. Please feel comfortable extending an invitation to those not part of our congregation.
