Children and Worship
Children 4 years – 4th grade discovered worship through Children and Worship which starts about ten minutes after worship service begins and is specially designed to provide children 4 years old through 3rd grade a worship experience appropriate to their age and development. It is based on Montessori model of education best practices.
Youth are called up for a blessing from the congregation and then are escorted to the Children and Worship room. For more information, please contact Kathy Banghart, Youth Education Director.
Sunday School
All children through 12th grade have Sunday School from 11 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The younger grades and the 4th – 6th grade class study bible stories on a monthly basis.
The 7th – 12th grade class uses a topical curriculum and sees how the bible can relate to that topic. We added a regular music component for the children 3rd grade and younger.
Called to Service
All youth are encouraged to use their gifts from God to help others. Middle and High School students will regularity participate in service projects whether locally or abroad. For the latest service project information, please contact Sallie Campbell.
Child Care Available
Sunday morning child care is provided from 9:45 – 12:30 for infants through pre-school age by our experienced and trained staff, Abigail Grill and Heather Pollok. Children ages 4 years and older are invited to attend Children and Worship and Sunday School.
