Beyond Boomers Group

Held the first Wednesday of every month, It is always a lovely time of food and friendship. You do not need to be a “boomer” or “beyond” to enjoy lunch with members of your church family to gather, share this meal and reflect on all our blessings. Don’t be put off by the title of this lunch. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. We want to include YOU in this monthly meal.

F.P.C. Men

Men’s Group is based on four components: Worship, Serve, Growth and Fellowship. We identify church members who need assistance with transportation and home tasks that they cannot perform themselves and which one or more of us can. Being part of the F.P.C. Men’s Group confers identity and belonging. Knowing one another brings about recognition and appreciation of special gifts and skills, whether at work or play. F.P.C. Men held several evening gatherings for fellowship and to serve.

TLC

TLC is a group of single women friends from the church who meet on the second Thursday of each month for lunch at an area restaurant. We would love to have you join us for this time of fellowship.

Book Club

If you like to read and discuss good books, consider meeting with us in the church parlor the first Tuesday of each month. All of the following books are available for check-out. You’ll find them on the fireplace mantel in our church library!

LINK

LINK is an organized expression of our love and concern for one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. Our purpose is to assure that all who consider First Presbyterian Church their spiritual home are part of an established small group of caring friends who reside with close distance of each other.

The primary goal continues to be the development of an active, stable group available to every congregation member. There are 9 groups that designed by geography. Most groups meet on regular basis for either a meal or activity. To find out which LINK group is closest to your area, please contact Sallie Campbell.
